Setup display is divided into three parts which are Setup, Personalization, and Help & Tutorial. Via the setup, users can set E-mail account, BlackBerry Messenger, Social Networking account, and Wireless. Ringtone, Wallpaper, and visualization setting can be found at Personalization.

#2. Homescreen

Homescreen display is changed and added by navigation bar. Navigation Bar is a new feature that offers easiness at application accessing. Navigation Bar is divided into several categories such as All, Favorites, Media, Downloads, and Frequent. It is only needed tapping to manage this Navigation Bar. Each category is base on the function. As example, Download category is for applications that downloaded via Over The Air (OTA).

#3. Connection Feature

For connection setup, now, users only need to use the Manage Connections icon at the top right corner of homescreen. Manage Connections function is as same as before which are mobile network connection settings, WiFi settings, and Bluetooth settings. Also that users can manage the clock alarm via it. There is a setup wizard that available at this connection feature.

#4. Universal Search

Universal Search is a useful search facility that can be found at homescreen. Universal Search can be used for any data searching that available in the BlackBerry cell phone such as contacts, messages, music, pictures, setup options, and many others. By using this search feature, users also can directly do information searching via internet search engine (such as Google) without open a web browser.

#5. BlackBerry Web Browser

BlackBerry Web Browser offers new capabilities such as CSS3 and HTML5 supporting. This web browser display is similar as like Opera web browser which equipped with tabbed function which offers easy multi-site browsing. Users also can create a shortcut for their favorite website at the homescreen. There is the finger gesture zooming feature available (for touch screen of course).

#6. Camera

The camera function is added by many new features which is a lot of improvement if compare with limited features of the previous. For focus function, there is single shot and continue shot. Unfortunately the High Definition (HD) is not supported yet.

The Music Player is added with better user interface for album and discovery facility. It is easier to synchronize the entire computer song with cell phone now. The Video Player is equipped with video thumbnail as well as the fast settings choosing to manage screen size (fit screen, full screen, and actual size).

BlackBerry OS 6 offers podcast client so no need to add third-party podcast application anymore. Podcast client allows users to search multimedia files via podcast catalog function. Application Management offers easy way to manage the installed applications. Application Management is divided into four menus which are Applications (to manage applications such as permission or application deleting), CPU (to see CPU usage of application), Usage (to monitor usage level), and Memory (to show memory capacity that used).
