However, it is needed to understand about cell phone camera terms so users can buy the right cell phone (related to camera feature). Here I share more of the cell phone camera terms for you.

Macro
Macro is a camera feature that allows to keep the focus when take a close range picture. Usually, each cell phone that supports the auto-focus feature, usually supports this macro feature.
Face Detection
Face detection is a cell phone camera feature to detect the human object. Face Detection allows cell phone camera to automatically detect the object face and use it as focus.
Smile Detection
Simile detection is a cell phone camera feature that allows camera to take a picture automatically base on the object smile. Activating this smile detection feature, the cell phone camera will only take a picture if the object is smile.
Sepia
Sepia is a color tone feature that “highlight” the brown color effect. Sepia produce an oldish touch for photo or image easily.
Black & White
Black & White is a cell phone camera feature that produce black-white photo result. Black and white colors will represent each color level if using this feature.
White Balance
White balance is lighting feature. White balance feature detect the light source temperature and then adapt the photo result base on it. White balance feature makes the photo result become natural regardless the lighting condition.
Exposure
Exposure refers to photo brightness level. Exposure is customizable via Exposure Compensation (EV) setting. Exposure feature is very important for camera. That’s why almost the entire cameras have this feature. Exposure produces better quality photo if compare without it.
Contrast
Contrast refers to saturation difference level between one object and another on the same photo frame. Contrast feature is configurable via the contrast menu.
Sharpness
Sharpness refers to sharpness level of a photo. The available sharpness options are usually hard, normal, and soft.
Grid
Grid is the lines helper on the camera frame area. This Grid is a big help to determine the perfect composition for a photo taking.
Red Eye Reduction
Red eye reduction is an effect feature that help to reduce the red-eye effect when photo the human or animal object. The red eye effect is because of the light reflection on the eyes.
Close Up
Close up is a cell phone camera feature that to produce maximum result when take a close up picture. It is helpful to close up tiny object such as insect or flower.
Sport
Sport is a cell phone camera feature that help produce best quality when take a picter of moving object. Sport feature will lock the moving object and then take the picture in freeze mode.
Frame Per Second (fps)
Frame per second (fps) refers to the frame amount per second that needed to make moving piture (video). Higher the fps value, better the video quality.
Self Timer
Self timer is a shutter camera controller. Self timer feature allows users to set a certain time range for shutter activation so the camera owner can join the photo session since the shutter is already automatic.
