Nokia X5-01 Cell Phone
The Nokia X5 cell phone series is mentioned as gap filler between Nokia cell phone X3 and X6 series. This X5 series seems target the young people market that love music and online. The box form and side-up keyboard is similar with Microsoft Kin. The color choice is quite complete which are pink, azure, graphite black, yellow, green, and purple. From the color choice, it is surely that this cell phone target the your people market. The battery cover casing material is the stainless sell. The rest of the casing material is plastic. The keypad’s buttons also use plastic material with close distance between each button. However, the buttons are still soft to push.
There is Media shortcut button at the left end of buttons row. This shortcut button is useful to open music folder which consists of music related applications. As default, there is Shazam, Playlist DJ, Radio, Ovi Music, Music player, Recorder, Podcast, Music Search, and Media. There is 3.5 mm audio jack and micro USB port in upper body. This placement makes there is no disturbing when hear radio by using earphone when the Nokia X5-01 cell phone is charged. Also that users can hear the music while synchronize the cell phone with PC/Laptop. In the behind the casing, the microSD and SIM card slot is hide right after the battery.

As shutter, users can use the navigation button. The mode changing between photo mode and video mode can be done fast by using menu bar at right side of the window also can be done through Options. The navigation button also can be used for zooming and to hide-unhide the menu. At photo mode, the menu bar is consists of scene modes controller, flash mode, self-timer, and sequence mode. Unfortunately, there is no tool to upload the photo result directly to social network such as Facebook. Users also can directly send the photo to printer or kiosk by using Bluetooth or WiFi. In the video mode, the menu bar is consists of mode moving controller, scene modes, video light, white balance, and color tone. The best video quality is in high position which produce the good quality of video that can be played smoothly in PC/Laptop. There is also audio recording to complete this video feature.
The video result can be uploaded to online but not directly to social networking. The only option is to share it through Ovi. The camera lens is often closed by fingers – especially if the cell phone in slide-out condition. Therefore, the best is that leave the cell phone in close condition for each time the photo feature using. Flash is surely a big help in less light condition. Flash range is 2 m also that the photo result can be over-exposed if too close to object. It seems there is no new regarding online in this Nokia X5-01 cell phone.
